In a typical home, there are a number of rooms in which the corners end up being underutilized to a high degree. One example is of the living room.
A regular bookshelf may not end up flush against a corner of a wall. However, if you got a specialized corner bookshelf, the result will be different. Another room that could benefit from a corner shelving unit is the bathroom.

If your office happens to have a relatively high ceiling, you can take advantage of the vertical space by getting taller corner units. The only downside is the inconvenience of accessing the top shelves. This of course can easily be solved by using a small, portable and easy to store step stool.
